Opening of the English and Foreign Languages ​​Course at the Military Language Institute

Colonel Hassan Haidar Al-Maayta, Commandant of the Language Institute, inaugurated today the English and Foreign Languages courses for the second half of 2024 at the Military Language Institute.

In his opening speech, Colonel Hassan Haidar Al-Maayta highlighted the vital role of the Military Language Institute in enhancing the language education process within our armed forces. He emphasized that learning languages not only improves personal skills but also develops professional abilities and facilitates communication and cooperation in both office and field military environments, as well as with brotherly and friendly armies.

He added that, in the rapidly changing world, knowledge of foreign languages has become an urgent necessity that cannot be ignored. The ability to communicate in multiple languages opens broad opportunities for interaction with different cultures and expanding international relationships. Furthermore, these courses enrich students' knowledge and enhance their competitiveness.

The English courses included three levels: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced, allowing students to develop their skills progressively. The Foreign Languages section offered courses in German, Spanish, Turkish, Chinese, French, and Hebrew, enhancing the linguistic diversity of the learners.

The Commandant of the Language Institute stated, "The teachers at the Military Language Institute possess a high level of excellence and experience, combining academic competence with the ability to deliver effective and impactful instruction. We are committed to providing an ideal learning environment to ensure the best outcomes for the students.
